Third year medical student with over four years of teaching and tutoring experience. Throughout my tutoring journey, I have supported students across a range of abilities, helping them strengthen their understanding, build confidence and achieve their target grades. As a medical student, I have developed strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a clear, structured approach to explaining complex concepts in an accessible way. I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, using flexible and supportive techniques to ensure lessons are engaging, effective and goal-focused. I am passionate about education and take pride in helping students reach their full academic potential. In terms of qualifications, I achieved all 9s at GCSE and As/A*s at A Levels to secure my place in medical school.

My lessons are structured but flexible and always tailored to the individual student. I usually begin by reviewing content from the previous lesson, either through targeted exam-style questions or by asking guided questions to encourage active recall and assess understanding. This helps identify any gaps before moving on. I then introduce the next topic, breaking it down into clear, manageable steps. I use whiteboards, analogies and frequent questioning to make complex concepts easier to understand and to keep students actively engaged throughout the lesson. I focus on ensuring the student fully understands the material rather than rushing through content. Once the topic has been covered, we work through exam questions together, applying the new knowledge in context. The student then attempts similar questions independently so I can assess their understanding. I finish by reviewing their answers, addressing any weaknesses and adjusting future lessons to focus on areas that need further improvement.
