I completed my Masters from the University of Greenwich in Criminology and Criminal Psychology. Working with children has always been my passion. I have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds (both mainstream and special needs; also special needs in a mainstream setting) and with all age ranges up to secondary. I was an afterschool club leader where doing different activities with children gave me immense pleasure and I considered myself lucky. I like creativity, that is what I was able to infuse with my role. I used to do Move with Maths where teaching math in fun style was my activity and I left no stone unturned to make sure the children enjoyed it whilst also making progress. I worked at the Lady Margaret Hall where I taught Psychology to the age group of 13-15 and I have taught English in the past at various different levels from beginners to GCSE across different exam boards including Edexcel and AQA. At this moment, I am teaching Psychology at Cherwell College, Oxford and as part of the role, I create lesson plans, deliver quality lessons, supervise preparation time, and make excellent quality class materials.

A dedicated Mathematics and English educator with a strong academic foundation and extensive teaching experience, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and helping students achieve their full potential. With a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and a PGCE in progress, I bring both subject expertise and pedagogical knowledge to my teaching practice for Mathematics and English across AQA, Edexcel, SQA and OCR mark boards. My academic achievements include top grades in GCSEs and A-Levels, reflecting a deep understanding of mathematics and related disciplines. Over several years, I have honed my teaching skills in both English and Mathematics through diverse roles, tutoring students from primary to undergraduate levels in Mathematics, English, and Science. I have guided learners through critical stages of their education, including preparing for the 11+, GCSEs, and competitive entry to prestigious schools such as Bancroft, Rugby, Merchant Taylors and Eton and many more, I also assist with private school interview prep. My ability to adapt to varied needs has enabled me to support students of all ages, from young learners building foundational skills to adults pursuing advanced academic and professional goals. My tutoring experience spans private settings and online platforms, where I have consistently received excellent feedback for my engaging and effective teaching style. I have developed innovative methods for teaching complex concepts, ensuring lessons are accessible, interactive, and tailored to individual learning preferences. This I have found has helped parents a great deal especially when it comes to having a tutor who teaches both Mathemcatics and English as a parent only needs one tutor who will understand their childs specific way of learning. With a commitment to excellence and a proven track record of fostering student success, I am eager to inspire confidence and academic achievement in every student I teach.

I am currently a primary school teacher with 2 years of experience in year 4 and 3 years of experience teaching in year 6. I am currently the maths subject lead at my school and have a wealth of training and experience regarding maths. I have recently taken part in an OFSTED review which involved a deep dive into maths, resulting in an outstanding rating for the curriculum. I have also been part of an external writing moderation and have had extensive training in assessing writing. When completing my teacher training I completed it with a maths specialism. I have a wealth of experience working with children with additional needs both in the school setting as well as a part-time job working as a play worker at a day centre for children with additional needs. This involved playing with the children as well as providing support for families.
